On Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 December the final of the fifth edition of the "Pizze Stellate" Championship was held, which saw pizza chefs from all over Italy compete. “Pizze Stellate”, is a unique event in the panorama of pizza. It’s coordinated by Technician Luigi Ricchezza and is promoted by Grandi Molini Italiani and Albo Pizzaioli.
The championship, born on the web, rewards the most beautiful pizzas in Italy and in all over the world.
The 21 finalists' creations have been evaluated by a jury of experts for aesthetics, originality, taste and dough. The jury composed of Salvatore Di Matteo, Luciano Sorbillo, Luigi Pomata, Paco Linus, Alessandro Lo Stocco, Ires Crippa and Monica Peroni.
The winner of this fifth edition was Massimiliano Grande.
